how to install the RJ45 cable

CABLE STRUCTURE IN COMPUTER NETWORK

 
1. EIA/TIA-568A & EIA/TIA-568B is an international standard RJ-45 cabling denganjack and cable UTP / STP category 3, 5, and 6 (4 twisted pair) used in Ethernet technology and PABX. Two standard (A & B) is used for crossover cable. The tip of one with the standard A, and the other with standard B.

 
2. The sequence with the standard EIA/TIA-568A (white green, green, white, orange, blue, white, blue, orange, white chocolate, chocolate) and EIA/TIA-568B (white orange, orange, white, green, blue, white, blue, green , white chocolate, chocolate) are commonly used for interconnection between the hardware and network. The use of another arrangement is allowed, but must meet the criteria in the no. 3 and so on.

 
3. Pin 1 & 2, the Ethernet is used as Tx. To avoid interference, it must be a pair (usually white-orange - orange or green and white - green) to meet the electrical needs in high-speed protocol-LAN.

 
4. Pin 3 & 6, the Ethernet is used as Rx. To avoid interference, it must be a pair (usually white-orange - orange or green and white - green) to meet the electrical needs in high-speed protocol-LAN.

 
5. Pin 4 & 5 (in wikipedia called "the central two pins") are used to carry telephone signals (the Internet is not just ethernet) or sound signals in telecommunications standards. Even the RJ-11 can be inserted into the RJ-45 port. For this purpose, it should be a pair in the middle (usually blue - blue and white)

 
6. Pin 7 & 8, usually used for technology Power over Ethernet (PoE), namely to increase the power of VOIP devices, wireless LAN access points, webcams, Ethernet hubs, computers, and other devices that are not allowed to provide separate power supply. In this course, pin 7 & 8 should be a 1 pair (usually white chocolate - chocolate).

 
So in conclusion, the composition of other colors are allowed, so long as the placement of each pair remain differentiated by function for supporting the use of hardware other than PCs in the network.

1. Cable UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair). UTP cable is commonly used UTP cable categories 5 (UTP Cat 5). Why? Because the Cat-5 UTP cable supports data transfer up to 100 Mbps. This cable consists of 8 small that have different colors. The cable color is Orange, Orange White, Blue, Blue White, Green, Green White, Brown, and White Chocolate.


 
2. The second is Jack RJ-45. Jack is similar to a home phone jack. Just a size larger. Jack RJ-45 consists of 8 pins, in accordance with the number of UTP cables.


 
3. Crimping Tools Crimping or Tang. Hardware that one is similar to pliers. However, unlike its function pliers in general. Crimping tool is useful for clipping the wires on the RJ-45 Jack.

 UTP Cable Straight Type
 
OK. Now I am not discussing how the installation. The first is how to install the UTP cable straight type. For that, do the following steps:

   
1. Peel the end of the cable is about 1 cm, so the small wire in it visible.
   
2. Pisangkan cables and straighten. Then collated and trim based on its color is White Orange, Orange, Green White, Blue, Blue White, Green, White Chocolate, and Chocolate. After that cut the edges so that the flat one another.
   
3. After the cable is made, take Jack RJ-45. As I said before, Jack is comprised of 8 pins. Pin 1 of the pin jack is located on the left if the position of the pins facing you. Sequential to the right is the jack 2, 3, and so on.



   
4. Then insert the wires into the RJ-45 Jack in the order were as follows:
          
* Orange White on Pin 1
          
* Orange at Pin 2
          
* Green Pin 3 White
          
* Blue at Pin 4
          
* Blue White on Pin 5
          
* Green at Pin 6
          
* Chocolate White on Pin 7
          
* Brown at Pin 8.

      
Insert the cable until its handle stuck in the jack.

   
5. Input Jack RJ-45 that is mounted with the earlier wires into the mouth of a suitable crimping pliers until the pin RJ-45 Jack resides in the mouth of pliers. Now jack flops earlier with crimping pliers until all the pins stuck in the cable. Usually if the pin jack already lodged will give voice "click".
 
Now you've finished installing the RJ-45 jack on the end of the first cable. For the second cable end, the steps are the same as the first one end of the cable installation. For that, repeat the steps had to put Jack RJ-45 cable at the end of the second.The composition of UTP cable straight type you can see in the picture below:

 
UTP Cross Cable Type
 
How to install UTP cable straight type I mentioned earlier. Now I discussed about how to install the type of cross UTP cable. How to UTP cabling cross type is similar to installing UTP cable straight type. Technical about pemasanganya same as before. The difference is the color sequence at the end of the cable wires to the second. For the first cable end, cable arrangement similar to the composition of straight type of UTP cable:

To end the second cable, the color composition is different from the first tip. Adapaun color composition is as follows:

The conclusion is that if you attach the cable UTP straight type the composition of the color on both ends of the cable is the same. While the installation of UTP way cross type, color composition is different from the first cable end unjung second cable.How to remember her
